I much much prefer the SFIV style.where only like 15 ppl are available from the beginning, and u need to unlock like half the roster. Also, hopefully there are super unlockables, that are really hard to get.like to unlock shao kahn, you would have to get a flawless on one round or something, and use a fatality on him.something really challenging. As far as chess combat, well, chess is my favorite game. And unless they would implement a formidable challenge, it wouldn't be worth it.if the computer knew like at least 10-20 different openings per color, that could be the start of something fun.

Tbh (I know this is a touchy subject 'round these parts), but the most amusing thing to me about Motor Kombat was Bo Rai Cho's landing toots.and maybe seeing the Puzzle-style characters again.Chess was and still is my favorite mini-game (Test Your Luck at a close second!). Before Deception's release, I was way skeptical. Chess requires strategy, and I just wasn't understanding how that would even matter if you're fighting someone who plays 10x better when it comes to the fights. But the incorporation of traps, spells, and power buffs gave you the option to strategize, which is fantastic, especially if you weren't the best 1v1 player.
